Our Founding

Consensys Property Management was founded in 1965 by Thomas F. Jones and his partners. Originally named “Rodriguez, Jones Inc.”, Consensys was the product of a long carpool ride to work every morning at the General Telephone Company of California. During this ride, the original partners discussed their shared interest of real estate and devised a plan to found a property management company. They saved their money and pooled their resources to purchase their first apartment building together. This was the beginning of Consensys Property Management.

Fast forward 50 years, and Consensys manages over 2,000 units in and around Southern California. It is a diverse portfolio which includes residential/commercial real estate, as well as HOA’s, and covers most of Orange County and South Los Angeles. Dr. Jones has four children: Suzanne, Kevin, Jeff, and Stephen. They have taken over operation of the company after his retirement, and are actively involved in managing the entire portfolio. They are committed to running the company for another 50 years, until the next generation of Jones’ are old enough to carry the torch. Jamey Perelli

Chief Operating Officer

Jamey has been with Consensys since 2013. As COO, Jamey is responsible for the operations of Consensys and reports directly to the Jones family owners. He graduated from Northern Michigan University and immediately relocated to California. He was
recruited by a manufacturing company in the South Bay, where he spent over eleven years as a Controller. Prior to joining Consensys, he has held numerous leadership roles at other Jones family-owned businesses including Los Angeles Harley-Davidson
and Santa Maria Motorcycles.

Stephen Jones

Operations Manager

Stephen has been with Consensys since 2016. He works with the property managers to implement processes and procedures aimed at improving Consensys’ clients’ experience. He also stays up to date with the latest technology and finds ways to utilize
it within the Consensys organization. When he isn’t busy finding the best ways to organize Consensys, Stephen will be at the local pizza parlor eating his favorite pepperoni pizza.

Angela Aristizabal

Senior Residential Property Supervisor

Angela has been with Consensys since 2002. She manages over 350 units for more than 50 owners. As the Senior Property Manager, Angela responds to all maintenance emergencies, and makes sure that her vacancies are low, and the tenants are happy with
their homes. She performs yearly market analyses to ensure rents are fair and comparable to the area. She regularly inspects all her units to ensure that they are maintained properly, and schedules vendors as needed. She has her real estate license
and has attained the Accredited Residential Manager accreditation from the prestigious Institute of Real Estate Management. When she isn’t looking after her properties, she enjoys spending time with her family and the occasional scoop of pistachio
ice cream.

Gabby Salas CAM®

Regional Property Supervisor for Large Properties

Gabby has been with Consensys since 2006. She is responsible for a portfolio of 850 units and 25 employees. Her job is to ensure maximum revenue for the owners of apartment communities of over 100 units by managing expenses and keeping vacancies
low. She knows that a happy tenant is a stable tenant and makes sure that her staff is responsive to maintenance requests and other tenant concerns. Gabby is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM®) through the National Apartment Association (NAA).
Gabby loves spending time with her three children watching the movie 13 Going On 30!

Laurel Dial, Realtor®

Broker/Director of Marketing

Laurel has been with Consensys since 2011. As Broker, Laurel is tasked with ensuring Consensys’ compliance with the many rules and regulations that exist in California. As the Director of Marketing, Laurel is responsible for bringing in new accounts
both for Residential and HOA management. Laurel currently sits on the Board for the Long Beach/Orange County chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) as the President-Elect, sits on the Legislative Committee
for the Apartment Association of Orange County (AAOC), and belongs to the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International (BNI). She is also a member of Community Associations International (CAI), and the Orange County Association
of Realtors (OCAR). Laurel graduated from UCLA with a BA in English Literature. Laurel is great at catching the wave of opportunity, and when not busy with properties can be found body surfing at the local beach.

Isabel Dominguez

Accounting Manager

Isabel has been with Consensys since 2008. She has held several positions over the years, including property manager. She has been our Accounting Manager since 2015. Isabel is responsible for making sure that all bills are paid on time. She ensures
that our clients receive their disbursement checks by the 15th of each month. Anything that has to do with accounting, Isabel is on top of it! She must have learned all of that responsibility from her father, who was her role model growing up.

Alejandra Lobertini

Office Manager

Alejandra has been with Consensys since 2016. As the Office Manager, Alejandra is responsible for making sure our front office runs smoothly, all calls are answered quickly, and our clients’, tenants’, and vendors’ needs are met. She coordinates
with all Consensys Property Management staff to maximize office efficiency.

Jerri Gaddis, CMCA®, AMS®

Community Manager

Jerri has been with Consensys since 2017. She has 18 years’ experience managing homeowner associations. She has been the past President of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI), sat on the Board of Directors in 2015-2016
of the Central Ohio Chapter CAI. She has earned her Certified Manager of Community Associations designation (CMCA®) and Association Management Specialist (AMS®) designations from CAI. Jerri uses the same dedication to her portfolio that she used
to become the Four Time Chili Cook Off Champion! When she isn’t taking care of her communities, she is pursuing the best ice cream ever. Which will it be? Caramel Sea Salt, Homemade Vanilla, or Chocolate?

Juanita Hudson, CCAM®

HOA Support Specialist

Juanita has been with Consensys since 2013. Juanita makes sure that all maintenance for HOAs is properly coordinated, and all vendors’ paperwork is current with Consensys. She values organization and takes care of these details so the Community
Managers can concentrate on managing their communities. She is also our FHA and VA approval expert for those associations wanting that qualification. Juanita has spent six years on the board as President or Vice President of her son’s high school
football booster club. Her motto is “Carpe Diem!” Life doesn’t wait for you; don’t let it pass you by!

Mariana Gutierrez

Lead Administrative Assistant

Mariana has been with Consensys since 2016. As the lead administrative assistant, Mariana is responsible for crafting the vacancy ads and keeping them fresh on line. She assists the property managers in the rental department with a variety of tasks
associated with leasing and managing rental properties. Mariana loves poke bowls, soup, and tacos! Yum!

Alyssa Barbosa

Administrative Assistant

Alyssa has been with Consensys since 2017. In her capacity as the HOA department’s administrative assistant, Alyssa is responsible for answering the phones, processing all payments, answering homeowner questions, and assisting the community managers
with many tasks as needed. When you call Consensys’ HOA department, Alyssa will be delighted to assist you. Alyssa’s passion is animals; she is studying to be a veterinarian.

Sara Marin

Administrative Assistant

Sara has been with Consensys since 2017. Her friendly voice is the first thing most callers hear when they call Consensys’ rental department. Sara’s responsibilities include posting available units, scheduling appointments for prospective tenants
to view vacancies and processing rent payments. Sara loves the smell of chai tea; it reminds her of autumn.

Lester Garcia

Maintenance Supervisor for Large Properties

Lester has been with Consensys since 2004. He is EPA-certified in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. He is certified to conduct lead- based paint renovations, repairs and painting. Lester has also received certified training for digital and tankless
water heating systems. He is our go-to man for granite installation. Lester oversees the maintenance requirements of our apartment communities over 100 units, including training new technicians, controlling maintenance expenses, and quality control
inspections. Lester enjoys dancing and spending time with his family. He loves the Disney movie “Shrek”.

Donato Franco

Maintenance Technician

Donato has been with Consensys since 1994. He holds certificates in many areas, including EPA Renovation, Refrigerant Transition and Recovery, Mold, and Appliance Repair. Donato is a wizard when it comes to minor plumbing issues! If he could live
a week in the past, he would love that! Maybe it would help prevent some future maintenance issues!

Heriberto Ponce

Maintenance Technician

Heriberto has been with Consensys since 2010. He holds Certificates in EPA Renovation, Appliance Repair, and Mold. Heriberto enjoys a challenge and is king when it comes to leaky plumbing! Maybe that’s why “The Lion King” is his favorite Disney
