OUR FOUNDING

ConsensYs Property Management was founded in 1965 by Thomas F. Jones and his partners. Originally named “Rodriguez, Jones Inc.”, ConsensYs was the product of a long carpool ride to work every morning at the General Telephone Company of California. During this ride, the original partners discussed their shared interest of real estate and devised a plan to found a property management company. They saved their money and pooled their resources to purchase their first apartment building together.
This was the beginning of ConsensYs Property Management.

Fast forward 50 years, and ConsensYs manages thousands of units in and around Southern California. It is a diverse portfolio which includes residential/commercial real estate, as well as homeowners associations, and covers Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, and Riverside Counties. Dr. Jones has four children: Suzanne, Kevin, Jeff, and Stephen. They have taken over operation of the company after his retirement, and are actively involved in managing the entire portfolio. They are committed to running the company for another 50 years, until the next generation of Jones’ are old enough to carry the torch. Stephen Jones, Operations Manager

STEPHEN JONES, REALTOR®

MANAGING PARTNER/CEO
Stephen has been with ConsensYs since 2016.  As Chief Executive Officer, he works with the company’s leadership to strengthen the ConsensYs brand while strategically planning for the future.   As CEO, he works with the executive team to implement processes and procedures aimed at improving clients’ experience.  He also stays up-to-date with the latest technology and finds ways to utilize it within the organization.  Stephen is a graduate of Chapman University. He is a California State Licensed Real Estate Agent, A REALTOR and a Certified Property Manager (IREM candidate).
Jamey Perelli, COO

JAMEY PERELLI, CCAM®

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jamey Perelli is the Chief Financial Officer of ConsensYs Property Management and is responsible for the daily operation of the company. Mr. Perelli provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place so the firm can successfully serve the needs of its clients. He has over 20 years of leadership experience and has been with ConsensYs since 2013. Jamey is a California State Licensed Real Estate Agent, Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) and is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) Candidate with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®).  He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and holds degrees in both Business Administration and Information Systems.
Eric Lemke, CFO

ERIC LEMKE, CPA, CCAM®

EXECUTIVE VP OF FINANCE

Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and has held several leadership positions for the Jones family for nearly 30 years.  As Vice President of Finance, he works hard to understand clients’ investment goals in an effort maximize their investments.  His extensive experience in the real estate industry, coupled with his CPA designation makes him a valuable resource to our clients.  Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from University of Southern California and received his MBA in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at USC.  He is also a Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®), as designated by the California Association of Community Managers.

Laurel Dial, Realtor®, Broker/Director of Marketing

LAUREL DIAL, REALTOR®, CCAM®

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING/BROKER
Laurel is a graduate of UCLA and holds a bachelor’s degree in Literature. She has been with ConsensYs since 2011.  As a Broker, Laurel is tasked with ensuring the company’s compliance with the many rules and regulations that exist in California.  As the Director of Marketing, Ms. Dial is responsible for selling residential, HOA and commercial property management services to new clients. She currently sits on the Board for the Long Beach/Orange County Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), sits on the Legislative Committee for the Apartment Association of Orange County (AAOC), and belongs to the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International (BNI).  She is also a member of Community Associations International (CAI), and the Orange County Association of Realtors (OCAR).   Laurel is a REALTOR and is affiliated with the Orange County Association of Realtors. She is a Certified Community Association Manager as designated by California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and is currently taking classes through IREM towards her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
Gabby Salas CAM®, Regional Property Supervisor for Large Properties

SENIOR REGIONAL PROPERTY MANAGER
Gabby has been with ConsensYs since 2006 and has held several positions in the company over the past 15+ years. As the Senior Regional Property Manager, she oversees the operations within the company’s entire portfolio of rental properties.  Her job is to ensure maximum revenue for our clients by managing expenses and keeping vacancies low.  Gabby knows that a happy tenant is a stable tenant.  She and her team are focused on achieving clients’ goals and are committed to providing an exceptional service to our residents. Gabby is a California State Licensed Real Estate Agent and is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM®) through the National Apartment Association (NAA®).
